The KCCA was founded in 1994. In addition to organising regular events for former choristers, choral scholars and organ scholars, we also seek to provide up-to-date information about concerts and other Choir activities, which we hope will be of great interest to members and non-members alike.
Membership of the KCCA is open to all former choristers, choral and organ scholars, choral volunteers, directors of music and clergy of King’s College, along with all former headteachers of King’s College School and certain other honorary members. It is an excellent way not only of keeping in touch with the work of the present Choir, but also of maintaining (or indeed regaining) contact with one’s former colleagues from King’s. Click here for more details about joining.
The Association is chaired by the Director of Music, and its everyday running is looked after (on a voluntary basis) by a number of annually-elected officers and other committee members. The committee typically meets two or three times a year, and is always pleased to hear from members who would be interested in serving on it. Its current composition is as follows: Stephen Cleobury (Chairman), Simon Tottman (Secretary), Colin Hawke (Treasurer), David Allsopp, Daniel Hyde, Simon Jones, Alan Kendall, Paul Nicholson, Andrew Parker and Charles Steward. The External Auditor is Joe Adams.
